The western part of the Amalfi Coast, located between Amalfi and Positano, is characterized by wonderful natural inlets, continually kissed by the sea.

The Conca dei Marini’s Bay, in the ancient fisherman village, framed by the rocky surroundings and also by the scenic houses. This is one of the most beautiful and renowned coastal resorts.

Fully overlooking the sea and enjoying the splendour of the unrivalled beauty bay, Villa Oriana lies in its magical magnificence.

The splendid villa is directly approachable from the main road SS 163 and then through a path of about 100 stairs.

An extraordinary combination of amphora, garden sculptures and bougainvillea is the unique setting for this famed Villa Oriana.

Villa Oriana also boasts a habitable surface of about 250 sqm distributed on three levels.

Beautiful equipped terraces surround the villa giving it a very panoramic overview.

The main terrace boasts a charming hydromassage pool in the rock with chromotherapy and also cervical massage.

The pool can also be heated.

Layout

Villa Oriana consists of three levels and opens itself on a very panoramic and equipped terrace of about 70 sqm, provided with brickwork benches, wicker sofas and also a barbecue.

The intermediate level of the villa consists of:

Entrance; living room; dining room; sitting room with satellite TV and DVD player.

Equipped kitchen (fridge, freezer, cooking plate with 5 stoves, wood oven, dishwasher, exhaust fan, oven, table, chairs).

Laundry corner (washing machine, laundry basin).

Bathroom (toilette, basin) and also a romantic double bedroom with a hydro massage shower bathroom en suite.

The bedroom, furnished with fireplace and poster bed, has an independent outside access opening on a small terrace provided also with a small service room.

From the terrace through just a few steps it is possible to reach an external shower with also laundry facilities (washing machine and dryer).

The lower level of the Villa

A small studio apartment opens up to an extraordinary panoramic terrace.

This small unit is composed of: – Living room with cooking corner (fridge, two electric stoves), balcony and double bed sofa, TV and wardrobes.

Double bedroom with balcony and shower bathroom (shower, basin and toilet).

All bedrooms have smart tv.

From the lower floor of the Villa it is possible to directly reach the sea through stairs leading to the common road onto to the beach.

Villa Oriana is surrounded by about 6.000 sqm of private garden provided with splendid paths with fencing, several relaxation zones/areas with benches, semi covered wellness area and also a natural grotto with sofa bed.

Most important: on the street level a garage for one medium size vehicle is available.

Villa Oriana lies in an enviable position to reach the sea and also to make use of several services.

Finally, at about 50 meters from the Villa on the SS 163 is the bus stop offering you the public state travel service SITA.

My family and I had an amazing 2 week stay at Villa Oriana in August 2024.
We were 2 adult couples with 3 kids ages 16, 14 and 10 (cousins) and the villa was perfect for us to spread out and relax with plenty of extra room had we needed it.

2 of the adults and the 10 year old stayed on the lower level which was a self contained apartment with a kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom and room with a sofa bed. It opened up to one of the many spectacular terraces over looking the ocean.

In the upper level / main house we had one couple stay in the en-suite bedroom and then each teenager had their own large room with a shared bathroom.

The kitchen and living/dining rooms were a good size but we spent most of our time outside.

The villa is authentic to the region inside and out. There are multiple levels of terraces with the most amazing views over the water.. Air conditioning in the bedrooms made sleeping pleasant and the pool was refreshing in the hot weather. It has both sun and shade to accommodate all tastes.

We spent a lot of time using the BBQ and cooking in the kitchen and dining on the main terrace overlooking the sea. Spectacular!

You can walk down to a small beach from the villa which has 3 restaurants and access to water taxis and boat rentals. We rarely walked up to the main road as we went everywhere (Amalfi, Praiano etc) via water taxi.

The views are postcard worthy and are far better than the photos.

Amila – who lives in a separate apartment underneath the villa with his family is AMAZING! Breakfast was served on the terrace very morning at whatever time we requested and he was able to make dining, taxi, and all other reservations for us as and when needed.

It’s a perfect location – away from the crowds of Positano and Amalfi, but just as beautiful and also easy enough to get to in a taxi or (preferably) water taxi..

The village itself has nice restaurants and hotels, as well as the restaurants down below on the beach.

We will without a doubt return to Villa Oriana again!

I can’t say enough good things about this villa. It was absolutely stunning and perfect in every way. The views of the coast, the grotto style pool and the Italian style kitchen were among many of things that we loved. The grounds keeper, Amila and his wife were very helpful and accommodating in every way – arranging for taxis, grocery runs and helping with baggage to and from the car. This place was perfectly located on the coast with easy access by boat ferry to all of the cities and access to one to the locals preferred beaches just at the bottom of the stairs. We also arranged for a private boat tour of the coast and Capri and they were able to pick us up at the dock at the beach. There are a lot of stairs, but the view and the villa more than make up for it. Honestly, if we were to go back we would probably just take full advantage of the villa and only leave for boat tours. It was everything we hoped for and more. Thank you for sharing your beautiful slice of heaven with us.

Just finished 9 nights at Villa Oriana and what a wonderful stay it was. Simonetta was fantastic in helping us organising transfers and recommending Maria who organised a private boat charter for one day and then gave us a private guided tour of Pompeii and Herculaneum on our departure. On arrival to the villa, we were greeted by members of Simonetta’s team including the wonderful housekeeper, Amila and his wife Maria. They had drinks and snacks set out on the terrace overlooking the sparkling blue water below. Nothing was too much trouble. Organising water taxis and private transfers to Ravello or to hike The Path of the Gods. Every morning Amila and Maria would prepare breakfast of pastries, juive, fresh, coffee and tea on the terrace at whatever time suited us. We were a group of seven adults – a family holiday with our 3 adult children and two partners and the Villa is so large and the grounds so expansive, there were always shady private places to lounge around and have time to yourself or gather as a group on the large main terrace for dinner overlooking the ocean. A quick 5 minute walk down the stairs sees 3 great restaurants, right on the beach and we ate twice at La Tonnarella and once at Ippocampo for pizzas. Water taxis from the same beach can have you in Amalfi in 10 minutes where you can shop for groceries (or have Simonetta’s team shop for you and deliver to the Villa) or catch ferries to other Amalfi towns. Accommodations are excellent and the villa has everything you could need. Would highly recommend and would book again in a heartbeat.

What a perfect location. We learned quickly that the water taxi is the best mode of transportation to get from one town to another and you could pick one up right below the villa. Very roomy for our group. The beach and restaurants right below the villa are so convenient. The grounds of the villa are so beautiful. We enjoyed all of the outdoor spaces at the villa. The gardens, and views, are just stunning.

The BEST part of our stay was Amila ! He was such a wonderful caretaker. Very accomodating, but never obtrusive. He was so helpful and did everything he could to ensure that we had a nice stay. It was such a pleasure to meet him and his wife and daughter. I hope to return and bring my family along next time. Villa Oriana was a perfect location on the Amalfi Coast. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

was a dream vacation of a lifetime .
From booking the villa with Simonetta to the welcoming upon our arrival by her daughter Francesca , and Maria came to tell us about all the excursions as well as transportation anywhere we wanted to visit along the Amalfi coast …..They all made sure everything was taken care of .(including our order of groceries , beverages, and wine delivered before we got to the villa) The views from Villa Oriana are stunning and breathtaking. The photos do not fully capture the beauty of this Amalfi coastal paradise . The Villa is gorgeous , spacious , and beautifully appointed and designed . (I wish there were less steps , …..but every step was worth it.)
Another lovely part of this Villa is the on-site staff the
Amila, his wife, Mara, and his daughter Sherina . They have their own apartment within the Villa grounds . They lavish us with care . Each morning began with a beautiful, continental breakfast served on the terrace with the glorious views of the Amalfi coast .
They are only there when you need them and give you privacy the entire time .
The villa consist of many steps ……however , Amila met us at the top of the road and carried down each suitcase for everyone then brought them back up at departure . Also there are many steps to get to the beach and boating dock which is right below the Villa so whenever you are ready to go to Positano, Amalfi or Capri…..Amila calls a water taxi for you up on your request and within minutes , off you go. . There are also 3 restaurants and a cafe on the beach. When we returned , Amila and his family had the villa all freshened up for us . . On our last evening he prepared an Italian meal that was absolutely delicious and served on the terrace .

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Oriana! The property is absolutely stunning – set high above the sea. The views from the rooms and patios are beautiful. It is very nicely laid out – the master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, 2 large bedrooms share a bathroom and the 4th bedroom is quite separate and has a sitting area, bathroom and patio. It has a small, lovely pool which we really enjoyed. Amila, the property manager, was absolutely fantastic. He has a separate accommodation on the property and stays with his lovely wife Mara and daughter Sherina. They were all incredibly kind, very helpful and generous. It was wonderful to have them near by and they really made our stay even more memorable.The beach below the property is great for swimming and has several restaurants. There are lots of steps to get to the beach (and to the road.) The water taxis run to Amalfi (10 Euro / person) and Positano (40 Euro / person) – there was no negotiating price.

Villa Oriana was the highlight of our 3 week Mediterranean experience. The setting was stunning! The character of the villa took us back in time, the furnishings were beautiful. One of the most enjoyable and appreciated components of the stay was the help of the on-site attendant, Amila. He and his family made themselves available to assist with our every need, making arrangements for travel, restaurant reservations and assistance with other incidentals. We would love to stay there again. The convenience of several restaurants at the beach below was great.

The villa can accommodate 8 people easily and still feel very specious and private! The house is wonderful- tastefully decorated, lovely gardens, and incredible views from several terraces. The pool is much deeper and fits more people than it appears to as well. There is a gorgeous beach and two restaurants just a short walk downstairs from the villa and water taxis at the port to easily and quickly take you to various towns nearby. There is also a Sita bus stop right at the top of the villa stairs so getting around is very easy! The on site contact, Serafina, is amazing- she greeted us upon arrival and was always available for any questions we had or to help us with arranging grocery delivery, porters, drivers, tours, etc! She truly made our experience easy, relaxing, and special. We always felt like we had a guide to contact if we needed anything at all. Notes to keep in mind: there’s lots of stairs (as expected on the coast), be very cautious with ceramics as breaking a plate can cost $50+, AC is only in the bedrooms, but the villa is mostly in the shade from the afternoon onward so plan accordingly.

Exclusive Villa staff who assist VRBO bookings was wonderful to communicate and work with and they provided transfers car shuttle and boat excursions and suggestions to restaurants and more! Luigi local Contact welcomed us to the Villa and was great with suggestions! Sudan was there for housekeeping and more and assisted with bags! The views are amazing from the villa and the restaurants on the beach helpful and good. The restaurants in Conca will pick you up at the bottom of road if called. The Sita avoid and take as many water boat or ferry rides that you can. We will return to the Amalfi coast and we welcome anyone to stay at my VRBO rental in Haena Hawaii VRBO 1700055

This property was recommended by friends so we had a high degree of confidence that it was a good choice… and it was. The layout was perfect for our family; a master with a bath, 2 upper level bedrooms that shared a bath, and a lower level apartment that offered additional privacy. There are multiple terraces with stunning views and the pool is both functional to cool down and great to gather socially. The location offers a balance of privacy and access to popular tourist spots. In the marina you will find family owned / operated restaurants and boat services. For us the key to optimizing our use of these was Sudan, who lives on property and is there to help you enjoy your visit. Apart from his normal routine of breakfast and housekeeping, he will be interested to know your daily program so that he can assist you in making it happen. For example the day we wanted to rent beach chairs… he had it done in a perfect spot, trips to Amalfi, Ravello, Capri, Positano… he made sure we knew how to get there and back with ease, food liquor etc from the market… done, food delivery from the restaurant- one call from Sudan and it’s done. Our family felt safer with his presence on site and grateful for his attentiveness and hard work. On the planning side, everything Francesca arranged (ground transportation, Pompeii tour went exactly as planned). The car service they used was excellent. Our suggested list of things you should be prepared for prior to your visit. First the only spaces that are air conditioned are the bedrooms. You will be able to enjoy a beautiful sunrise… however direct sun till the afternoon. So you may find yourself using shutters etc. to get the right balance of breezes and shade to lower the temperature of the common living space. Bring bath supplies (soaps, shampoo etc), and you may be find yourself wanting a few more towels (we purchased beach towels from the beach vendor downstairs). On the money side, in the marina we were for the most-part able to use credit cards… however cash is handy for tips etc. and there is no ATM right there. So we found ourselves planning our cash needs on our trips to Amalfi etc. You’ll also find cash handy when you settle at checkout for things like electric overage, things you may have purchased from the market etc, and your likely gratuity for Sudan. Lastly be prepared for the steps… hit the stair master the month prior to travel. Net net… a beautiful vacation spot.

Located in a small cove, between Amalfi and Priaeno , the villa met all of our. Weds …and more.
4 Bedrooms easily accommodated four couples, the “grotto” style spa was a perfect place to chill out in the afternoon.
Roughly 130 steps to the beach, featuring three beachfront eateries, gave us plenty of dining options if we did not wanted to eat locally.
The beach also provided easy access to beach transportation to Amalfi and Positano.
The villa was perfect for our needs, I can’t imagine staying anywhere else.

I’ve been so busy with work since my return I haven’t been able to sit down and write you. I definitely plan on leaving a glowing review!

Everything was perfect from the minute we arrived to moment we left. Luigi was amazing and Sudan was the absolute best. We are already trying to figure out when we can come back!

Just to give you an idea about how perfect it was, my wife of 27 years was in tears when she first saw how beautiful the villa was and then started crying again when it was time to leave. It was really the best trip we’ve ever had.

It’s probably not even worth mentioning but the downstairs shower could use a shower curtain. We felt bad that we had to use clean towels to soak up the water that would get on the floor from the shower. We just hated to make more work Sudan. It certainly was no big deal to us though and we managed just fine.

Thank You to all of you there who made the trip for my family and friends so special.

We were 4 couples who stayed at Villa Oriana in Conca Dei Marini for 1 week. We loved the villa and the views were amazing – we like to refer to it as an “active view” with lots to see – boats, the beach and views of Amalfi. Both Ms. Serefina and Sudan were amazing help while at the villa. We had a great experience with Italian Exclusive Villas who assisted us in booking shuttles from the train station in Salerno and then to the airport in Naples. I would definitely recommend this agency.

There is a book by Patricia Schultz entitled “1,000 Places To See Before You Die” Villa Oriana has to be the 1001st place.

The view is spectacular, the location is only a short bus ride to anywhere in the coast and the sea is at your doorstep.

The villa itself is well laid out for a group of 8 so that those who want want to party can go for it and if anyone wishes a time out they can get away and be alone.

The Nadia housekeeper is a jewel. We went away feeling totally pampered.

The most difficult part of the trip having to come home.

[From the guest book] Amalfi Coast was the best vacation me and my wife.
We travelled with three other couples and had a blast! I highly recommend this villa. Everything from the design, decor, lush grounds, spectacular service, and perfect amenities made our stay unbelievable. During my stay I was in heaven and really wished I had more time there. We just had to walk down the beach at evening for the best food ever! Everyone is so pleasant & attentive and the food was wonderful as well!
The high end luxury combined with the gorgeous grounds and superior service really make Villa Oriana worth every cent!!
