Located in Amalfi Coast, Casa di Mare is a very panoramic accommodation facing the Beach of Salicerchie.

It lies in the homonymous village just a few steps away from the famous Norman Tower of Maiori.

The property is set in the rock and placed next to an ancient lemon grove whose aromas inebriate the Villa’s guests as well as the bathers while enjoying the splendid Beach of Salicerchie.

The Beach of Salicerchie is just few steps (only 150) down below, this is to say that you can reach the villa directly through a typical stone-made stairs of the Amalfi Coast.

The beach has a beach club but a free area is also available.

Swimming from the bay it is possible to reach some of the most spectacular caves of the coast including the famous sulfur spring cave.

This cave has beneficial and healing waters and importantly visitors can easily tap into it.

The horseshoe structure of the valley offers a spectacle that alternates rocks and agricultural terraces which paint themselves orange at the sunset.

Enjoy this enchanted peace, secluded from the tourist clamor of the nearby Maiori.

The village of Salicerche is just ten minutes walking from Maiori and to reach the town center there is an excellent bus and taxi service.

The villa has also an agreement with a nearby car park that offers a free shuttle service.

You can reach spectacular places like Amalfi and Positano in a very short time.

To reach the villa, easily reachable via a characteristic stone staircase, only 15 steps.

It consists of two independent units communicating through an internal door and a fully equipped annex is also available.

The structure gives you the real feeling of being on board a sinuous sailing ship.

The construction runs alongside the rock following its curves and joints. The large central balcony gives the feeling of being suspended over the sea.

The rooms follow one another offering glimpses of an infinite horizon from the bright windows.

The main body of the house offers two double bedrooms where it is possible to add two more single beds and a double sofa bed located in the large living room.

There are two bathrooms; one with a bathtub and the other one with a shower, and two practical central kitchens that directly overlook the terrace.

The annex has a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower and a kitchen / living area with fireplace.

Outside spaces:

The Villa also offers a semi covered terrace of 80 square meters which leads to the access to the lemon house.

The terrace has an outdoor kitchen with a solarium and a shower.

The Villa is ideal for a holiday with friends but it is also perfect to meet the needs of a family who wants to enjoy the dream of a summer in Amalfi.

This large apartment is also divisible into two units, each with 4 beds, completely independent from each other and with separate entrances.

From the wide terrace just outside the kitchen it is possible to reach the beach by a private staircase that pass through the lemon grove.

On the terrace you will find a shower.

With its enchanting view of the sea, the villa is perfect for a romantic escape with or without children.

The villa has a direct access to an area equipped with a barbecue and a pizza oven and shaded by a rustic pergola.

This terrace also, offers a breathtaking view of the beach, the emerald sea and the landscape of the Cilento Coast that appears just like a mirage on the horizon.

Central body formed by two units communicating by an internal door. You can access the dependance throught a short path shaded by the typical pergolas of the Amalfi Coast.

The dependance is on two levels connected by the external staircase at the bottom.

The apartment has a full sea view and consists of a large bedroom upstairs with an adjacent bathroom.

Downstairs kitchen / living room, with double sofa bed and fireplace. Outside, a lovely garden overlooking the sea.

Music entertainment, cooking service and yoga lessons are service available upon request on payment.

Every morning and evening, we gathered on the terrace to share stories of our Italian experiences on the Amalfi Coast. The views cannot be more gorgeous whether the sun was rising or setting, we looked out over the sea as we watched people down on the beach and waves crashing into the small caves along the cove. The house is comfortable and even though the air conditioning wasn’t working in all of the rooms, the sea breeze kept us quite comfortable. It is an easy walk to the hotel where our vehicle was parked. We did not need the car to walk down into Maiori to beaches, shops, and restaurants. Each of us left with regret because our visit was so wonderful.

Amazing views of the cove. A bit of a walk down to the beach but steps are typical along the Amalfi. If you don’t want to walk the steep steps then the main Maiori beach is about a 10 minute walk down the street. Great location. The bed rooms are set up to where you have to pass through bedrooms to get to the front entrance and to the outside terraces. the third bedroom was an apartment on the lower floor. It didn’t have air condition but there was a fresh breeze. Hosts were very nice and easy to get a hold of.

“Let me begin by saying that the most amazing thing about this house is the view, you seriously could not get a better one on the Amalfi coast. There are two terraces that both look out onto the Mediterranean, both spots are fantastic for tanning, or just sitting and enjoying the view. Every morning we would sit and sip our coffee on the terrace and look down to the sea and the beautiful secluded beach. The beach is amazing and clean and has a fraction of the people that the main beach in town does. We loved going and swimming out into the beautiful waters and felt totally safe leaving our things behind on the beach. The walk down from the house to the beach is a bit difficult but what it lacks in ease, it makes up for in scenery, the whole walk is surrounded by bushes and lemon trees and it truly makes you forget you are walking down stairs. The location is perfect, it is a 10 minute walk to the center of town and a 5 minute walk to where you park your car. At first, we thought it would be a bit of a nuisance to not have parking on location, but in our week long stay we didn’t need our car once because we simply didn’t want to leave! Maiori is amazing and it has everything you need within 10 minutes of the house. And if you are seeking another part of the Amalfi coast, there is no need to drive as the ferry to any other part of the coast is 3 euro. Francesca was an amazing host, probably the best I have had with my experience on Airbnb. She showed us everything about the house and made our stay so much easier. She was very accommodating and even gave us a tour of the lemon garden near the back of the house and allowed us to pick lemons to our hearts content (highly recommend taking advantage of this!). Francesca exceeded the expectations of a host and answered all of our questions thoughtfully and pushed us to ask more. She helped us with our luggage and getting settled and had a great demeanor. She is hands down the best! She was a very sweet host and we will definitely be staying here in the future, should we ever return to the Amalfi coast.”

El alojamiento es bastante amplio, nosotros somos una familia de 5 pero la villa es para mas de 10 personas comodamente instaladas. Su ubicacion es buenisima, a pasos del centro de Maiori y a escalones (aprox 120) de una playa privada que tiene todo lo que uno puede esperar.
Francesca nos recibio a mi y a mi familia y fue una anfitriona espectacular. Ella es muy paciente, simpatica y servicial. Se tomo todo el tiempo necesario, a pesar de que llegamos tarde, para mostrarnos todas las instalaciones de la villa. Nos quedamos encantados con la villa, era todo mas amplio y mas bonito de lo que esperabamos. Los cuartos tienen aire acondicionado, lo que es importantisimo para ir en agosto, como hicimos nosotros. La playa privada que esta exactamente a 120 escalones abajo de la villa es un sueno. Mis hijos no quisieron moverse de Maiori, gracias a la playa que teniamos ahi a un paso, porque es perfecta para nadar y hacer snorkelling de dia y de noche. Definitivamente volveria a esta villa. Muchas gracias Francesca & Matteo.

What a wonderful property. I felt so fortunate renting this mesmerizing villa close to Maiori. Everyone who visits Amalfi coast is aware of lack of beaches and how hard is to reach them. I was so lucky to find this exclusive property right on the beach. The house is sitting directly above a private beach and offers direct, unobstructed sea views. It is very large and we had more room than could use. Francesca was very helpful and sweet. She personally checked us in and helped with parking, which is located 350 m away. It is standard for Amalfi coast not to have parking directly at the house. Beach is 140 steps down and you can rent chairs or use Free portion of the beach for no charge. Picturesque town Maiori is just a short walk from the Villa and I enjoyed being close by but still away from the tourists. We brought our world traveler Pomeranian and he had a wonderful time as well. In Maiori dogs are forbidden to swim at the beaches but our puppy was able to enjoy the water at our private beach. Villa has 2 outdoor entertaining terraces and is surrounded by lemon groves. We enjoyed sipping wine and watching the sea. We grilled one night on the top level. Ac worked great. Thank you, Francesca and Giovanni! We will be back!
